"Kept promising updates, but I had to chase every time"
I ordered from Fantastic Furniture and the communication was frustrating. They kept saying I’d be updated, but that never really happened unless I contacted them first. The delivery date changed more than once, and no one properly told me what was going on. Customer service took ages to reply, and when they did, it didn’t really answer my questions. It felt like they made promises just to get me off their back, then nothing followed through. The whole thing was way more stressful than it needed to be, and I wouldn’t be keen to order from them again.

"Staff really didn’t help much"
I asked the staff for help twice, and this is where it got annoying, both times I still didn’t get a proper answer or any real assistance. It felt like I was just being passed off instead of actually helped.

"Financing was a letdown"
I was all set to buy a few things, but the financing options were disappointing. I expected there to be better payment choices, especially since not everyone can just drop the full amount upfront.

It ended up feeling like I wasted a bunch of energy going through everything for no reason. Maybe it works fine for some people, but I got annoyed and just went somewhere else that made paying over time easier.

"Delivery Fees Were a Letdown"
I was annoyed when I saw the delivery cost ended up being higher than I expected. It felt like one of those automated checkout systems just keeps adding fees without making it clear upfront. By the time I noticed, I was already frustrated. I don’t think I’ll be buying from here again.

"Click and collect was a hassle"
I ordered through click and collect and when I got there they couldn’t even find my order, so I ended up standing around waiting for ages while no one really seemed that bothered about helping, and the whole thing was just frustrating and not worth the hassle.

"Colour looked very different in person"
I ordered this sofa expecting a soft grey based on the photos, but when it arrived it looked more blue/green to me. To be fair, I know colours can vary a bit depending on screens and lighting, but this felt like quite a big difference and it really doesn’t match my room. Customer service basically just said colours can look different online, which wasn’t very helpful. Frustrating overall

The box showed up smashed, and a few parts inside were scratched. it was frustrating and kind of gave that feeling that there wasn’t a real person looking it over before it shipped.

It seemed like a decent place overall, but getting there was a bit stressful for me since I don’t drive. I kept wishing it was easier to reach by transit or that there was clearer info to reassure me about the best way to get there.

"Pretty disappointing visit"
I went into Fantastic Furniture to check out a couch, but the service really wasn’t great. A few staff walked past me and no one offered to help, and when I asked a simple question it felt like I was bothering them. The store wasn’t even busy, so I’m not sure what was going on. I ended up leaving without buying anything. The prices seemed alright, but the whole experience just put me off

"Apparently Paying for a Couch Is the Hard Part"
I tried to buy a couch, which you’d think would be straightforward, but the payment options made the whole thing way more annoying than it needed to be. There weren’t many choices, and of course the checkout didn’t really show what was available until I was basically at the end. Super helpful. I ended up wasting a bunch of time and just gave up. For a big furniture site, you’d think making it easy to take someone’s money would be a priority, but I guess not.

"I really thought this would be decent..."
I really thought this would be decent for the price, but once I got it home it just felt cheap. i’m tired of running into the same issue where something looks fine at first and then ends up feeling like a waste of money. It doesn’t feel like good value at all, and I wish I’d just spent a little more somewhere else.

The parking was such a hassle. It was confusing to get into, and I ended up circling around twice before just giving up and leaving. I only wanted to quickly check out a sofa, so wasting all that time felt unfair. If a store wants people to come in, they should make it easier and not put customers through that kind of mess

"Feels like the range has been quietly narrowed down"
I was browsing Fantastic Furniture looking for a new lounge and a few bedroom pieces, and the range felt way more limited than I expected. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it kind of felt like they’ve quietly trimmed everything down and are just pushing the same few looks at everyone.

A lot of the items looked almost identical, same colours, same shapes, same safe styles repeated over and over. It was giving “you will buy beige and you will like it” energy. Some categories barely had any choice at all, which made me wonder if half the good stuff is hidden somewhere or just gone completely.

For a big furniture site, I expected a lot more variety. I ended up closing the page and checking other stores because I didn’t want the usual basic showroom look. Not terrible if you want something plain, but if you’re after anything with a bit of personality, it feels like the options have mysteriously disappeared.

"Really uncomfortable"
It was so uncomfortable. I tried to give it a fair chance, but I just couldn’t get used to it. Even my sister noticed I kept adjusting it and said it didn’t seem comfortable at all. Not something I’d want to use again.
